Young Adults

We are in the process of creating a Young Adult group at Assumption Parish. We are very excited about the potential social and spiritual support it will provide.

Currently, attending college, preparing for college and attending high school requires a unique perspective of dealing with personal challenges and triumphs alike. Celebrating this perspective in a grace filled atmosphere of friendship and support is our goal.

If you would like to join in the formation of this fellowship for high school and college age individuals, please contact us.

Theology on Tap – FAQ

Young adults are also invited to join in fellowship at “Theology on Tap“. Sessions are presented and sponsored by the Archdiocese of Denver.

It’s a fun forum to encounter Truth and Beauty over a pint with friends! These popular monthly gatherings feature thought provoking speakers addressing questions fundamental to the hungers of the human heart. Check out the next “Theology on Tap” subject and date!
The usual location is: Katie Mullen’s Irish Restaurant and Pub, 1550 Court Place, Denver, Colorado.

Q: What is the age range?
A: College through 35

Q: Do I have to register?
A: No, just show up!

Q: What is the schedule for the night?
A:
Denver TOT = 8:00 is our “official” start time, but our speaker is usually talking by 8:30. At 9:30 they are usually taking Q&A’s. People usually trickle out between 9:30 and 10:30.
Fort Collins = the start time is 7pm with the speaker beginning by 7:30.

Q: Where do I park for the Denver TOT?
A: Since Braun’s bar is located so close to the Pepsi Center, if there is an event taking place at the same time, it can make parking a little tricky. If you cannot find a meter or a cheap parking place, you can always go directly across the street (Auraria Pkwy) and park in the student parking for $10. We recommend taking light rail or carpooling for the most convenience! (If there is not an event at the Pepsi Center you can usually park in any of the near by lots for free).
